Removal and Installation

- Displace the tunnel carpet from around the throttle pedal.





- Remove the split pin, withdraw the clevis pin and displace the inner cable from the pedal (1 Fig. 1).
- Remove the assembly mounting bracket (2 Fig. 1) upper securing nut and forward securing screw.
- Remove the assembly from the vehicle. Withdraw "C" clips, rotate and withdraw pivot bushes (3 Fig. 1).
- Remove the pedal from the mounting bracket and remove the spring.
- Withdraw stop rubber from the pedal.
- Refitting a new pedal is the reversal of the removal procedure.
