1995 MY XJS DIAGNOSTICS ON PDU

Diagnostics for the 1995 MY XJS has been divided between PDU and 3DS.

- The engine and transmission system associated with the AJ16 engine (4.0L) are on PDU.
- The remainder of vehicle diagnostic software is on JDS Issue DBC 4085.

Diagnostics on PDU will appear to be very different from those previously available to JDS. Most of this is due to changes in the way the information is presented.

Having selected Diagnostics from PDU's main menu, the software will go through a series of simple option screens to select the vehicle configuration and system to be tested. The final option is to determine whether faults stored in the ECM memory are to be investigated and by what method.
