DTC P1468 Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Control Module Overtemperature

Description

The DEF control module monitors its internal temperature. If the DEF control module detects an excessively high internal temperature condition for a certain length of time, this DTC will set in order to record a history.

Condition for Running the DTC

- The battery voltage is between 10 to 16 volts.
- The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for Setting the DTC

- The DEF control module detects an excessively high internal temperature condition.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

- Refer to DTC Type Definitions for Action Taken When the DTC Sets - Type D.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC

- Refer to DTC Type Definitions for Conditions for Clearing the DTC. Type D

Diagnostic Aids

This DTC is run in order to record history data. Even if P1468 is a current DTC, it does not affect any performance and DEF control module replacement is NOT required.
