DTC P1467 Engine Signal MalfunctionCircuit Description
The engine speed signal to the DEF control module is sent from the engine control module (ECM) via a controller area network (CAN) communication bus based on inputs from the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor or the camshaft position (CMP) sensor. If the DEF control module detects an abnormal engine speed signal from the ECM, this DTC will set.
Condition for Running the DTC
- The battery voltage is between 10 to 16 volts.
- The ignition switch is ON.
- The engine is running.
Condition for Setting the DTC
- The DEF control module received an abnormal engine speed signal from the ECM.

Diagnostic Aids
- Inspect the Crank Signal Present & Can Signal Present parameters in the engine data list for an intermittent signal.
