Wiper Arm Blade Replacement

Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT: Use care when installing a wiper arm blade not to allow the wiper arm to fall back and strike the windshield.




1. Lift the wiper arm until it locks in the vertical position
2. Push in the locking tab of the wiper arm blade clip and pull downward on the wiper arm blade.




3. Remove the wiper arm blade pivot from the inside radius of the wiper arm assembly.
4. Bring the hook of the wiper arm assembly out through the opening in the wiper arm blade.

Installation Procedure
1. Insert the hook of the wiper arm assembly through the opening in the wiper arm blade.
2. Position the wiper arm blade pivot in the inside radius of the wiper arm assembly hook.




3. Pull upward until the locking tab of the pivot engages the slot in the hook.
4. Carefully lower the wiper arm and blade assembly onto the windshield.

Inspection Procedure
Perform the System Check.
