The 1994 manual will be revised and updated using adhesive-backed labels applied to the front inside cover, front cover, and spine. This Service Bulletin contains detailed instructions for applying these labels.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
INSIDE COVER REVISION LABEL
1. Open the Workshop Manual to expose the front inside cover.
NOTE
Place a second manual or document of comparable thickness under the Workshop Manual cover to serve as a support while applying the label. Tape the edge of the manual cover to the support document to keep it from moving around.
2. Take the adhesive-backed inside cover revision label and peel the top edge of the label away from the backing approximately one inch.
3. Grasp the label with your thumbs and forefingers, placing your forefingers between the label and the backing. Center the label over the inside manual cover and carefully press it down on the top edge to - anchor it to the cover (Figure 1).
4. Gently pull the backing away from the label with one hand while pressing the sticker onto the manual cover using a sweeping back and forth motion with the other hand (Figure 2). Carefully work your way down the cover in this manner, until the backing is completely removed and the label is pressed firmly onto the cover.
5. Rub your hand over the label to burnish it and eliminate any air pockets.
COVER & SPINE REVISION LABELS
1. Take the /1995 violet-colored label and peel the backing away from the label.
2. Carefully position the label on the front of the Workshop Manual cover and press the label down (Figure 3). Rub the label with your fingers to burnish it and remove any air pockets.
3. Take the 95 violet-colored label and peel the backing away from the label.
4. Carefully position the label on the Workshop Manual spine and press the label down (Figure 4). Rub the label with your fingers to burnish it and remove any air pockets.
