SERVICE INFORMATION





On some affected vehicles, a noise coming from the alternator may be due to an overlength alternator bracket bolt (Figure 1) contacting the alternator. Replacing the alternator bracket bolt with a shorter length bolt (listed in "Parts Information" section of this Service Bulletin) will eliminate the noise.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

To eliminate noise coming from the alternator, replace the alternator bracket bolt (Figure 1), using the bolt listed in the "Parts Information" section below.
