Throttle Position Sensor

The throttle position sensor is mounted on the side of the throttle body opposite the throttle lever assembly. It senses the current throttle valve position and relays that information to the Engine Control Module (ECM). Knowledge of throttle position allows the ECM to generate the required injector control signals (pulses). Refer to "Engine Control Module (ECM) and Sensors" for further information.
