Oil Pump: Service and Repair

1. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable, then raise and support vehicle.
3. Remove front tires and drain engine oil.
4. Remove oil pan.
5. Remove oil pump attaching bolt, then the oil pump and driveshaft extension.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten to specifications.
7. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
