Oil Pan: Service and Repair
1. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.2. Disconnect battery ground cable, then raise and support vehicle by frame.
3. Drain engine oil, then remove front wheel and tire assemblies.
4. Remove oil dipstick, then the radiator undercover.
5. Remove suspension crossmember.
6. Remove starter motor assembly.
7. Remove four front axle housing retaining bolts, then the axle housing.
8. Remove oil pan retaining bolts and nuts, then oil pan.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
