Front Brake Rotor

1. Raise and support vehicle so that front wheels rotate freely, then remove front wheels.
2. Remove brake pads as outlined under Brake Pad Service, then remove the caliper and caliper frame assembly as a unit. Use care not to damage the flexible brake hose. Do not allow caliper to hang from brake hose.
3. Remove hub grease cap using a suitable tool, then remove cotter pin, nut retainer, nut and bearings. Slide hub off spindle.
4. Remove bolts holding hub to rotor and separate. If rotor is to be reinstalled to the hub, place suitable matching marks on both pieces.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Thoroughly clean the hub area before installing the rotor.
b. Tighten bolts to specifications.
