4 X 2 Models

1. Remove the frame side bracket by removing the strut bar nuts, washer and rubber bushings.
2. Remove the two bolts fastening the strut bar to the lower control arm and remove the strut bar.
3. Reverse procedure for installation of strut bar. Refer to Fig. 2, for proper bushing positions and tighten to specification. Strut bar to lower control arm, torque to 45 ft. lbs. Strut bar to frame, torque nut 15 ft. lbs.; locknut 50 ft.lbs.

4 X 4 Models

1. Raise and support front of vehicle.
2. Remove rubber bushing and washer.
3. Remove bolts, nuts, washers, bushings and strut bar.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
