4 X 2 Models

1. Remove the height control arm adjusting bolt.
2. Scribe location and remove the height control arm from the torsion bar and third crossmember.
3. Scribe location and withdraw the torsion bar from the lower control arm.
4. Grease torsion bar ends and height control arm. Reverse removal procedure to install the torsion bar, Fig. 2.
5. Turn adjuster bolt to location marked upon removal.

4 X 4 Models

1. Raise and support front of vehicle.
2. Remove adjustment bolt and seat, Fig. 4.
3. Remove height control arm.
4. Remove torsion bar and rubber seat.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
