Service Procedure

OUTLINE





1. Using the inspection mirror (Part No. 2-90999-100-0) included with this Campaign Bulletin, and a pen light, inspect both the driver and passenger front seat belt buckle release buttons for chipping or cracking (Figure 1).

If both release buttons are OK:





Install seat belt guides onto both the driver and passenger front seat belt buckles. Refer to service procedure instructions Installing Seat Belt Guides for details. Use the appropriate Seat Belt Guide Kit designated for the vehicle's interior color (Table 1).

If either release button is chipped or cracked:

Install replacement release buttons onto both the driver and passenger front seat belt buckles. Refer to service procedure instructions Installing Replacement Release Buttons for details. Use the appropriate Seat Belt Button Service Kit designated for the vehicle's interior color (Table 1).

IMPORTANT!
Both the driver and passenger front seat belt buckles must be repaired or replaced as a pair to ensure proper color match.
