Thermostatic Air Cleaner Actuator: Description and Operation

THERMAC Air Cleaner:

PURPOSE
Mixes hot and cool intake air.

LOCATION
In the air cleaner snorkel.

OPERATION
As vacuum is applied to the vacuum motor, a rod either raises the damper (opens hot air duct and closes cool air duct) or lowers the damper (closes hot air duct and opens cool air duct). This action mixes the hot and cool air until it reaches the correct temperature.
