CENTER CONSOLE ASSEMBLY

M/T MODELS : Removal and Installation


CAUTION:
When removing, always use a remover tool that is made of plastic.

REMOVAL

1.Remove shift lever knob. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Removal and Installation.
2.Remove console finisher assembly.





1.Remove metal clips from rear of console finisher (1), and then remove pawl of front.
2.Pull console finisher upward to disengage from center console assembly.
3.Disconnect harness connectors.





3.Remove coin pocket.





Remove coin pocket fixing pawl using a remover tool (A), and then remove coin pocket (1).





4.Remove console rear finisher.





1.Pull back the console rear finisher (1).
2.Disconnect inside key antenna connector (A).





5.Remove console mask.





1.Open the console lid.
2.Pull up console mask by using a remover tool (C), and disengage pawls.





6.Remove center console assembly.





1.Remove screws (B) of center console assembly front side with screw driver (A).





2.Disconnect console sub harness connectors (A).





3.Disconnect heated seat switch connector (A) (with heated seat).





4.Insert a deep-well socket wrench (A) to rotate adjusting nut to loosen cable sufficiently. Refer to "LEVER TYPE : Inspection and Adjustment" Lever Type.





5.Remove screws (C) of center console assembly rear side, and then remove center console assembly.

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.
