VEHICLE SECURITY SYSTEM CANNOT BE SET

DOOR REQUEST SWITCH : Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY SYSTEM (DOOR LOCK FUNCTION)

Lock/unlock door with door request switch.
Refer to "DOOR LOCK FUNCTION : System Description" System Description.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- Check Intelligent Key system (door lock function). Refer to "ALL DOOR : Diagnosis Procedure" Diagnosis Procedure.

2. CHECK HOOD SWITCH

Check hood switch.
Refer to "Component Function Check" Hood Switch.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 3.
NO- Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

3. CONFIRM THE OPERATION

Confirm the operation again.
Is the result normal?
YES- Check intermittent incident. Refer to "Intermittent Incident" Intermittent Incident.
NO- GO TO 1.
