REAR SUNSHADE SWITCH

Component Function Check


1. CHECK REAR SUNSHADE SWITCH FUNCTION

Operate rear sunshade switch and check rear sunshade operation.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- INSPECTION END
NO- .


Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK REAR SUNSHADE SWITCH POWER SUPPLY

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect twin switch connector.
3.Turn ignition switch ON.
4.Check voltage between twin switch harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 3.
NO- GO TO 2.

2. CHECK REAR SUNSHADE SWITCH POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect rear sunshade control unit connector.
3.Check continuity between rear sunshade control unit harness connector and twin switch harness connector.





4.Check continuity between rear sunshade control unit harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace rear sunshade assembly.
NO- Repair or replace harness.

3. CHECK REAR SUNSHADE SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Check continuity between twin switch harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 4.
NO- Repair or replace harness.

4. CHECK REAR SUNSHADE SWITCH

Check rear sunshade switch.
.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 5.
NO- Replace twin switch.

5. CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

Intermittent Incident.
- INSPECTION END


Component Inspection


1. .CHECK REAR SUNSHADE SWITCH

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect twin switch connector.
3.Check continuity between twin switch terminals under the following conditions.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- INSPECTION END
NO- Replace twin switch.
