POWER WINDOW MOTOR

DRIVER SIDE : Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK DRIVER SIDE POWER WINDOW MOTOR INPUT SIGNAL

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect driver side power window motor connector.
3.Turn ignition switch ON.
4.Check voltage between driver side power window motor harness connector and ground.





Is the measurement value within the specification?
YES- Replace driver side power window motor. Removal and Installation.
NO- GO TO 2.

2. CHECK POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH OUTPUT SIGNAL

Check voltage between power window main switch connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 3.
NO- Replace power window main switch. Service and Repair.

3. CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect power window main switch connector.
3.Check continuity between power window main switch harness connector and driver side power window motor harness connector.





4.Check continuity between power window main switch harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 4.
NO- Repair or replace harness.

4. CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

Intermittent Incident.
