Steering Tilt

MANUAL FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE STEERING TILT





Description
Steering tilt only does not operate when manually operated.




Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK STEERING TILT MECHANISM
Check for the following.
- Mechanism deformation or pinched foreign materials.
- Interference with other parts because of poor installation.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 2.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
2.CHECK TILT SWITCH
Check tilt switch. Tilt Switch.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 3.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
3.CHECK TILT MOTOR
Check tilt motor. Tilt Motor.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 4.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
4.CONFIRM THE OPERATION
Check the operation again.
Is the result normal?
YES - Check intermittent incident. Intermittent Incident.
NO - GO TO 1.
