Description
Detects door open/closed condition.




Component Function Check
1.CHECK FUNCTION
Check automatic window adjusting function.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Door switch is OK.
NO - SEE Diagnosis Procedure.




Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK DOOR SWITCH
Check door switch. Door Switch.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 2.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
2.CHECK DOOR SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
Check voltage between power window sub-switch harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace power window sub-switch. Service and Repair.
NO - GO TO 3.
3.CHECK DOOR SWITCH CIRCUIT
1. Disconnect passenger side door switch connector.
2. Check continuity between passenger side door switch harness connector and power window sub-switch harness connector.





3. Check continuity between power window sub-switch harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 4.
NO - Repair or replace harness.
4.CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Intermittent Incident.
