DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR - PASSENGER SIDE





Description
Locks/unlocks the door with the signal from BCM.




Component Function Check
1.CHECK FUNCTION
1. Use CONSULT-III to perform BCM Active Test ("DOOR LOCK").
2. Touch "ALL LCK" or "ALL UNLK" to check that it works normally.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Door lock actuator is OK.
NO - SEE Diagnosis Procedure.




Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR INPUT SIGNAL
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect passenger side door lock assembly connector.
3. Check voltage between passenger side door lock assembly harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace passenger side door lock assembly. Removal And Installation.
NO - GO TO 2.
2.CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR CIRCUIT
1. Disconnect BCM connector, driver side door lock assembly connector and fuel lid lock actuator connector.
2. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and passenger side door lock assembly harness connector.





3. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace BCM. Removal And Installation.
NO - Repair or replace harness.
