SERVICE INFORMATION
New Work Support functions in C-III (CONSULT-III) are now available for the G37 Convertible roof and trunk operation.
These features should be used only when the vehicle is in the following failsafe modes:
^ The trunk lid or the roof will not operate because something is stuck in the retraction mechanism.
OR
^ The roof was left in the partially open condition and has retracted into the trunk.
CAUTION:
Use of this Work Support feature may result in the retractable hardtop functioning out of sequence. If interference conditions occur with the parcel shelf, flipper doors, and trunk/roof latches, damage may occur.
NOTE:
To access these features, C-III must be synchronized / updated with Software Version 09.16.01.01.00.
Figure 2 will display after highlighting "ROOF/TRUNK/PARCEL SHELF" and then clicking on "Next" as shown in Figure 1.
