P POSITION WARNING DOES NOT OPERATE


Description


NOTE:
- Warning functions operating condition is extremely complicated. During operation confirmation reconfirm the list above twice in order to check for normal operation. Refer to Warning Function.
- Door lock function is normal.




P POSITION WARNING DOES NOT OPERATE


Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK POWER POSITION
Check if ignition switch position is changing or not.
Does ignition switch position change?
YES - GO TO 2.
NO - Check BCM for DTC. Refer to Testing and Inspection.
2.CHECK DETENTION SWITCH
Check BCM for DTC. Refer to Testing and Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 3.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
3.CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY WARNING BUZZER
Check Intelligent Key warning buzzer. Refer to Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 4.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
4.CHECK BUZZER (COMBINATION METER)
Check buzzer (combination meter). Refer to Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 5.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
5.CHECK DOOR SWITCH
Check door switch (driver side). Refer to Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 6.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
6.CHECK INSIDE KEY ANTENNA
Check inside key antenna.
- Instrument center: Refer to B2621.
- Console: Refer to B2622.
- Trunk room: Refer to B2623.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 7.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
7.CHECK COMBINATION METER DISPLAY FUNCTION
Check combination meter display function. Refer to Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 8.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
8.CONFIRM THE OPERATION
Confirm the operation again.
Is the result normal?
YES - Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO - GO TO 1.
