Trunk lid auto closure system does not operate when trunk lid opening and closing operations are performed.




TRUNK LID AUTO CLOSURE SYSTEM DOES NOT OPERATE


OPEN/CLOSURE FUNCTION : Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK TRUNK CLOSURE CONTROL UNIT POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Check trunk closure control unit power supply and ground circuit. Refer to Trunk Closure Control Unit.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 2.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
2.CHECK TRUNK ROOM LAMP SWITCH
Check trunk room lamp switch. Refer to Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 3.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
3.CHECK TRUNK ROOM LAMP SWITCH CIRCUIT
Check trunk room lamp switch circuit. Refer to Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 4.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
4.REPLACE TRUNK CLOSURE CONTROL UNIT
- Replace trunk closure control unit.Refer to Removal and Installation.
- Confirm the operation after replacement.
Is the result normal?
YES - INSPECTION END
NO - Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.
