CONSULT-II NATS SOFTWARE UPDATE (AEN00A)

APPLIED VEHICLES:

SERVICE INFORMATION

CONSULT-II NATS software is being updated from UEN99A to AEN00A. The AEN00A software update includes the following enhancements:

- SUB MODE was added

- Protection against illegal copying of NATS program card was added

- Larger fonts displayed on printouts

The AEN00A software update will be included on the ASIST CD starting from March 15, 2000 and can be loaded directly from ASIST to CONSULT-II (refer to the Service Procedure below).

The CONSULT-II resident software is also updated from version 3.1.3 to 3.2.

IMPORTANT:
The CONSULT-II resident software must be updated to version 3.2 to allow the AEN00A software to function.

NOTE:
CONSULT-II Operation Manuals are available on ASIST. To access the manuals, click the "CONSULT-II Manuals" button on the "CONSULT-II Software Update Screen" (see Figure 10 or 13 in the "CONSULT-II NATS Software Update Procedure").
