SERVICE INFORMATION

Some customers may request confirmation that their vehicle's operation will not be affected by the transition from 1999 to 2000 calendar year. This issue, sometimes referred to as Y2K, regards errors that may occur in computer based systems that use date comparisons for operational decisions.

The major computer systems on Infiniti vehicles do not use calendars or date comparisons for operating decisions. Infiniti engine control and all other vehicle computer-based systems will not be affected by Y2K, they will function normally regardless of calendar date.
