Service Procedure

SRSCM/ACU Programming Procedure when GDS is connected to the Internet:





1. Connect the GDS unit to the vehicle, select the vehicle model and then select the "AIRBAG" icon.





2. Select "OK".





3. Select "System Option".





4. Select "ACU Variant Coding".





5. Verify the ignition key is in the "on" position and Select "OK".





6. Enter the vehicle's 17 digit VIN number and select "OK".





7. The following the screen will be displayed: Select "OK".





8. When the variant coding process is complete, the following screen will be displayed Select "OK". The coding procedure is now complete.

SRSCM/ACU Programming Procedure when GDS is not connected to internet:





1. To identify the variant coding code for the vehicle, go to the hmaservice.com website and choose "Vehicle Info".





2. Enter the vehicles 17 digit VIN and select "OK".





3. Select "ACU coding code" to retrieve the code.





4. Connect the GDS unit to the vehicle, select the vehicle model and then select the "AIRBAG" icon.





5. Select "OK".





6. Select "System Option".





7. Select "ACU Variant Coding"





8. Verify the ignition key is in the "ON" position and select "OK".





9. Verify the ignition key is in the "ON" position and select "OK".





10. Select "OK".





11. Enter the 4 digit code retrieved from hmaservice.com in step 3.





12. Select "OK".





13. The following screen will be displayed "select OK".





14. When the variant coding process is complete, the following screen will be displayed select "OK". The coding procedure is now complete.
