Repair procedures

Removal

1. Remove the drain plug (A) and drain the engine coolant.






2. Remove the drive belt (A).






3. Remove the water pump (A) and water pump gasket (B).

Tightening torque :
18.6 - 23.5Nm (1.9 - 2.4kgf.m, 13.7 - 17.4lb-ft)






4. Installation is the reverse of removal with a new water pump gasket.
5. Fill the engine coolant.
6. Start the engine and check for leaks.
7. Recheck the coolant level.
