W/Harness Inspection

HO2S Circuit Inspection

1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect front HO2S harness connector.
3. Measure voltage between terminal 2 of the HO2S harness connector and chassis ground.

Specification : Approx. 2 - 3V.




4. Measure resistance between terminals 2 and 1,3,4,5,6 of the HO2S harness connector.

Specification : Infinite




5. Is the measured data within specification ?






Terminal and Connector Inspection

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
