DRIVER'S AIRBAG REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait at least three minutes before beginning work.




2. Remove the two Torx bolts (A), then remove the driver's airbag (B).




3. Remove the driver's airbag from the steering wheel, then disconnect the driver's airbag 2P connectors.

INSTALLATION
1. Connect the driver's airbag 2P connectors, then install the driver's airbag on the steering wheel.
2. Secure the airbag with the new Torx bolts.
3. Connect the battery negative cable.
4. After installing the airbag, confirm proper system operation:
- Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should blink for about six seconds and then go off.
- Make sure both horn buttons work.
5. Enter the customer's preset radio stations.
