Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION




1. Remove the sunroof motor (A) after removing 3 screws and disconnect the 9P connector (B) from the sunroof motor.




2. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 8 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 3. Check that the motor turns counter-clockwise.




3. Reverse the polarity, check that the motor turns clock- wise.
If operation is not as specified, replace the motor.
