DESCRIPTION:
This bulletin explains the repair policy within the warranty period for the 6-speed manual transaxle (P/N 43000-39910) released in the 2003MY Tiburon Coupe vehicle.

POLICY:
Within the warranty period for the 6-speed manual transaxle released in the 2003 Tiburon, if an internal mechanical malfunction or oil leak from the transmission case and/or clutch housing is diagnosed, remove and replace the manual transaxle with a new unit. No internal disassembly of the 6-speed manual transaxle should be performed.

In-dealership repair/replacement of the following external components is allowed:

^ Back-up lamp switch

^ Speedometer driven gear

^ Differential oil seal

^ Speed sensor
