Trunk Lamp: Description and Operation
Circuit DescriptionBattery voltage is applied at all times from room lamp fuse to the trunk lamp, door ajar, trunk ajar warning indicators and so on. When the appropriate switch (see schematic) is closed, a ground path is provided to the respective lamps, causing the lamps to go on.
The front room lamp can be controlled by the door switches or turned on manually, depending on the position of the front room lamp switch. The front room lamp can also be turned off so it will not come on with the door open.
