DESCRIPTION:





When servicing or installing a remote CD changer into a vehicle, there is a "Horizontal - Vertical" setting which must be set properly to assure proper operation of the CD changer. This bulletin also shows the reset and eject button locations.

SERVICE PROCEDURE:





When installing or replacing a remote CD changer, always verify the horizontal-vertical setting is properly set. If the setting is wrong, the CD changer will be more susceptible to skipping and setting error codes.





The reset and the eject buttons are located behind the sliding cover. The reset button is recessed, requiring a small tool to press it.

If a CD changer error code displays on the in-dash radio display, or if the magazine will not eject from the CD changer, press the reset button for more than 5 seconds. This will eject the magazine and reset the changer.
