Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Description and Operation

The front suspension is a Macpherson strut type independent suspension. The upper end of the strut assembly is attached to the wheel housing through a rubber insulator, while the lower end is attached to the steering knuckle.
The knuckle is attached to the lower arm through the ball joint.
