Brake Warning Indicator: Testing and Inspection

BRAKE FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH
1. Remove the connector from the switch in the brake fluid reservoir.
2. Ensure that the continuity exists between switch terminals 1 and 2 while pressing down the switch (float) with a rod.




BRAKE FLUID LEVEL WARNING LAMP
1. Start the engine.
2. Release the parking brake.
3. Release the connector from the brake fluid level warning switch.
4. Ensure that the warning lamp lights.
