Inspect condition of vapor hoses and connections.
Drum Brake System
Check lining for wear, automatic adjuster operation and drum condition. Check wheel cylinder boots leaks, cuts, tears or heat cracks. More frequent inspection may be necessary when driven in dusty or sandy conditions or mountainous terrain.
Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints
Check drive axles and CV joint boots for leakage or damage.
Disc Brake System
Inspect pad wear, discs for runout and wear and calipers for leakage at mileage interval or every 12 months, whichever comes fist. Under severe driving conditions C, D, G and H inspect more frequently.
Brake Hose/Line
Inspect brake lines and hoses for damage, wear, cracks, corrosion, leaks, bends and twists at mileage interval or every 12 months, whichever comes first.
Brake Fluid
Inspect brake fluid level and condition at mileage interval or every 24 months, whichever comes first.
Replace
Timing Belt
For California this maintenance is recommended, but not required. Inspect all timing belt related components and replace as necessary.
Spark Plug
Oil Filter, Engine
Fluid - A/T
Replace fluid and filter.
Engine Oil
Coolant
Flush and refill cooling system. Use a 50% solution of ethylene-glycol antifreeze. Check for leaks.
Air Filter Element
More frequent service may be required if driven in dusty or sandy conditions.
Rotate
Tires
Recommended, but not required. Rotate tires and check inflation.
