Trunk Lid
TRUNK LIDTrunk Lid:
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Loosen the trunk lid hinge mounting bolts and remove the trunk lid.
2. Remove the torsion bar by using the torsion bar wrench (09861-22000) as shown in the illustration.
3. Remove the trunk lid latch and trunk lid lock.
Tightening torque 7-11 N.m (70-110 kg.cm, 5.1-8.0 lb.ft)
4. To remove the trunk lid hinge, first remove the following parts;
1. Remove the rear seat cushion and seat back side cover.
2. Remove the high mounted stop lamp (If installed).
3. Remove the rear package tray trim.
4. Loosen the trunk hinge mounting bolts.
5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
