REAR DOOR

Rear Door:






REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1. Remove the rear window regulator handle and then remove the clip using a piece of cloth (Manual type only).






2. Remove the door pull handle.






3. Remove the door inside handle and disconnect the inside handle rod clip.






4. Remove the rear door trim mounting screws.






5. Remove the door trim panel.






6. Remove the door trim seal and door pull handle bracket.






7. Remove the rear door belt outside weatherstrip.






8. Loosen the mounting screw and the bolts of the rear door division channel.






9. Loosen the rear door glass mounting bolts from the rear door window regulator and remove the rear door glass.






10. Remove the rear door glass run and rear door division channel.






11. Remove the fixed glass.






12. Remove the rear door belt molding joint and rear door frame molding.






13. Remove the rear door frame garnish.






14. Remove the rear door regulator channel mounting bolts and then remove the door regulator assembly.






15. Remove the door inside handle rod from the door latch assembly.






16. Remove the door outside handle mounting bolts.
Disconnect the outside handle rod from the outside door handle at the position shown.






17. Remove the door latch and door lock actuator.

Door latch tightening torque 8-11 N.m (80-110 kg.cm,5.8-8.0 lb.ft)






18. Remove the waistline molding.






19. Remove the door checker.

Tightening torque 22-33 N.m (220-330 kg.cm, 15.9-23.8 lb.ft)






20. Installation is the reverse of removal.
If the door glass has been remove from the glass grip, be sure to install it in the correct position.






NOTE: When installing the door trim seal, butyl tape should not be placed over door trim fastener mounting area.
