Fuel Gauge: Testing and Inspection
Operation check1. Disconnect the fuel sender connector from fuel sender.
2. Connect terminals 1 and 6 on the wire harness side connector through a 3.4 watt, 12V test bulb.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the ON, and then check that the bulb lights up and fuel gauge needle moves to full.
Resistance check
1. Remove the instrument cluster.
2. Measure the resistance between terminals. (101-1:13, 101-2:11)
Standard resistance
Fuel level F : Approx. 7 Ohms
Fuel level 1/2 : Approx. 32.5 Ohms
Fuel level E : Approx. 95 Ohms
