Disassembly Instructions

Disassemble transaxle as described below:

1. Remove the reverse idler gear and shaft.





2. Remove the spring pins using the special tool (09414-11000)





3. Disassembly of shift rail assembly:

1) Shift the first-second speed shift fork to the second speed.

2) Shift the third-fourth speed shift fork to the fourth speed.





4. Remove the shift rail assembly.





5. Remove the bearing retainer.





6. Lift up the input shaft assembly and remove the intermediate and output shaft assemblies.
