PROCEDURE
When repairs have been made, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for 15 seconds or more and connect it again to make sure that the Diagnostic Trouble Code has been erased.

NOTE: If it is necessary to work on engine components requiring removal of the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, check must first be made to see if a Diagnostic Trouble Code has been recorded.
