With Multi-Use Tester (MUT)

PROCEDURE





1. Connect the Scan Tool to the Data Link connector.
2. Select 4, "SPECIAL TEST" from the function selection menu of the Scan Tool.
3. Then select item 5, "ERASE DIAG".
4. Press the YES key when "ERASE DIAG. CODE?" is displayed.
5. Enter ID code "19".
6. Press the CLEAR key when "FINISHED ERASING DIAG. CODE" is displayed.
7. Read the self-diagnosis output and check output of correct code.
8. Disconnect the Scan Tool.
