DESCRIPTION

REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE FOR DOOR OUTSIDE BELT WEATHERSTRIP





1. Open the door and completely roll down the door glass.





2. Remove the end piece mounting screw shown in the figure.

NOTE:
Be sure to keep the removed mounting screw for reuse.





3. Remove the door outside belt weatherstrip by pulling up carefully and slowly so as to not break its mounting clip.





4. After the weatherstrip is removed, one or more weatherstrip mounting clips may remain on the door.

They can be removed as follows:

1. Insert a screwdriver into the mounting clip as shown in the figure and pry outwards to release the clip.

2. Then, using a long nose plier, pull the clip upward.

5. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedures.
