1. Turn adjusting bolt on pedal support until distance between pedal pad and toe board is approximately 7.4 inches.
2. Working from engine compartment, pull on clutch outer cable, then adjust clearance between adjusting nut and holder as shown in Fig. 1, until clearance is .20-.25 inch.
3. After performing above procedures, clutch pedal freeplay (b), Fig. 2, should be .80-1.20 inches, while pedal stroke (C) should be 5.70 inches. If clutch pedal stroke is greater than specified value, check for defective clutch assembly.
