1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove strut bar to control arm a strut bar to crossmember attaching nuts and bolts.
3. Remove stabilizer bar bracket to strut bar attaching nuts and bolts, then the strut bar.
4. Remove stabilizer bar to crossmember attaching nuts and bolts, then the stabilizer bar. The right and left strut bars are not interchangeable. The left strut bar has a white marked area on its surface. Ensure strut bars are correctly positioned before installation.
5. Position inner locknut and adjusting nut onto new strut bar according to dimensions shown in Fig. 7.
6. Install strut and stabilizer bars, then loosely install attaching nuts and bolts. Do not tighten nuts and bolts at this time.
7. Lower vehicle to floor, then proceed as follows:
a. Tighten strut bar to crossmember attaching nut, strut bar to control arm attaching nuts and bolts, stabilizer bar to crossmember attaching nuts and bolts to and stabilizer bar bracket to strut bar attaching nuts and bolts to specifications.
8. Check and adjust wheel alignment to specification.
