Distributor Advance Solenoid Valve

To test the Distributor Advance Solenoid Valve, located on the engine, proceed as follows.

1. Disconnect the wiring harness connector.
2. Test for resistance across the two terminals.
Standard Value
38-44 ohm @ 20°C (68°F)

3. If the solenoid valve's resistance is out of the standard value limits replace the solenoid.
