Mixture Control Solenoid - Slow Cut: Testing and Inspection

FBSV And SCSV Locations:

To test the Slow Cut Solenoid Valve, located on the carburetor, proceed as follows.

Connector M21:

1. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (connector M21).
2. Test for resistance between terminals 2 and 4.

Resistance: 38 - 44 ohm @ 20°C (68°F)

3. If the solenoid valve's resistance is out of the standard value limits replace the solenoid.
