1. Drain cooling system, then remove drive belt.
2. Remove water pump pulley, Figs. 34 and 35.
3. Remove timing belt cover and tensioner.
4. Remove water pump mounting bolts, then the alternator support brace.
5. Remove water pump assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install. When installing water pump mounting bolts, torque bolts marked ``4'' to 11 ft. lbs. and bolts marked ``7'' to 20 ft. lbs. install timing belt tensioner, then adjust belt tension as outlined under TIMING BELT.
